Greek Moussaka

Greek Moussaka

Moussaka is one of the best known dishes of greek urban cooking. It is a vegetable and ground mince dish covered with a thick layer of béchamel sauce. Food scholars believe that the word moussaka is of Arabic origin. Some also believe that Arabs introduced moussaka in Greece, when they brought the eggplant. Our version uses soya granules to make a vibrant tomato gravy, which perfectly accompanies the eggplant, potato and green capsicums.
