Most commonly known as “bow-tie” pasta, the name Farfalle is derived from the Italian word, butterfly. Dating back to the 16th century, it originated in Lombardia in Northern Italy. We have paired it with pumpkin which is rich in anti-oxidants and vitamins and sage, an intensely flavourful herb which has been held in high regard throughout history both for it culinary and medicinal properties
